Continuing the Monday epicness of having two different acts team up, Jimmy Kimmel brought together Joss Stone and Stone Temple Pilots to perform the latters 1994 hit. In the same week that news broke of their amicable split with frontman Chester Bennington, Stone gave a successful performance of pop, soul and power.

After two brief reformations since their initial break up in 1998, A Tribe Called Quest have reunited once more with a little help from The Roots ahead of their reissue of their debut release People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. If the legendary tracks weren’t enough to get you initially hooked, the reissue also includes covers from Pharrell Williams, J. Cole and Cee-Lo Green.

Shamir “On The Regular” – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (Tuesday)

Shamir won’t be for everyone. His charming pop can for some, be confrontingly absurd. But the catchiness of his beats and care-free vibes will undoubtedly be a winner when he’s in Australia for Laneway Festival 2016.

The Internet “Under Control” – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (Thursday)

Also appearing at Laneway 2016 will be the chilled out vibes of The Internet who made their network TV debut last week on Colbert. They played the track “Under Control” from their 2015 LP Ego Death. The group has evolved a long way since their original inception as an Odd Future offshoot with members Syd the Kyd and Matt Martians. Grooves and feelings a-plenty.

Saint Motel “Cold Cold Man” – Conan (Thursday)

Indie-prog hybrid Saint Motel played the love-sick, soaring brass section track “Cold Cold Man” from their new EP My Type which is available now. Respect to the Conan web-team who supply a transcript for all their videos – ”Whoo whoo oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.
